With an interior design education background, Jodie Adrianto takes a deconstructed approach into an archipelago oriented cuisine style. Raised in a multicultural family, his heritage runs deep into many culinary ethnicities. Often taking up oriental and colonial influences into a contemporary outlook on traditional staples.
His entry into the culinary world is rooted in his cultural upbringing, often taking notes and knowledge from trips into local markets and big family gatherings. With an entry stint at South Jakartan fast-casual Taco Local during his early years, he also taking up culinary basic education during that time. Now he heads up YabaiIzakaya at Menteng, often crafting Omakases and Pop-Up Dining events carrying the banner of Third World Culinary Co, a culinary collective based in Jakarta.
